I found the original recipe on Pinterest and made some changes to make it my own. I made it for the first time on Easter Sunday and the family loved it!

pinch tips: Non-Stick Rice Every Time

boneless skinless chicken breast
6 1/2 oz
1.5 - 2 c
chicken broth
1 pkg
ranch powder mix
1 1/2 stick
1 c
mozzarella cheese

Directions Step-By-Step

Place Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast in a Crock Pot. Spread Pesto evenly as possible on all visible surfaces of the Chicken.
Sprinkle the Dry Ranch Mix over Chicken. Pour the Chicken Broth over Chicken. Drop stick of Butter in the middle.
Heat on Low for 6 - 8 hours or High for 3 - 4 hours.

Sprinkle with Mozzarella before serving.

It was very delicious, but was not what I was thinking it would be. I might bake it next time and omit the broth. Was VERY juicy and all of the flavor was in the liquid. I shredded mine(very easy, the chicken was melt in your mouth)in the liquid and served it over rice.

Yes it is very juicy :) I actually removed it from the liquid when serving - sprinkled the cheese and covered with a lid to let it melt.

My coworker made this and said it was amazing....Could I make it without the Ranch. I have some food allergies and can't do all those preservatives.

I'm not sure Wendy. I guess you could maybe make your own Ranch powder and leave out the ingredients that you are allergic too? I'm not sure how that would work but its an idea or you can just leave out the ranch entirely...but again I don't know how it would turn. I'm sorry I couldn't answer your question.

Here is a recipe I found for homemade Ranch Dip
