My mother-in-law shared with me how to make this version of Chicken Cordon Bleu and it never disappoints! Delicious!

Ingredients

6-8
boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thawed
1 pkg
deli ham slices
1 pkg
swiss cheese slices
1
large can cream of mushroom soup
1/2
bag pepperidge farm herb seasoned bread crumbs
1 stick
butter or margarine
1/2 c
water

Directions Step-By-Step

Layer the chicken, ham, and cheese in a baking pan. Cover with soup and then bread crumbs. Melt the butter and drizzle it over the casserole. Drizzle the water over the casserole also (keeping in mind that you may need a little more or less water, depending on how dry the overall dish looks once the butter has been drizzled on it). Bake for 1-1 1/2 hours at 400 degrees.
