Lemon Roast Chicken

- "just a pinch" of salt
- "just a pinch" of pepper
- 1 tsp
- garlic cloves, minced
- 2 Tbsp
- 1/4 c
- 3 Tbsp
- lemon juice
1Wash chicken, pat dry, season with salt and pepper.
2Sprinkle half the oregano and garlic inside cavity.
3Melt butter in large frying pan.
4Brown chicken on all sides.
5Transfer to crockpot.
6Sprinkle with oregano and garlic.
7Add water to fry pan, stir to loosen brown bits.
8Pour into crockpot.
10Cook on Low 8 hours.
11Add lemon juice in the last hour of cooking.
12Transfer chicken to cutting board.
14Pour juice into sauce bowl.
16Serve with some juice spooned over chicken.
