We use to make this a lot, but haven't in a few years. I think this recipe came from a cooking show years ago.

Ingredients

pieces of chicken skinned and scored
2 c
plain yogurt
1/2 c
olive oil, extra virgin
1/4 c
lemon juice
1 Tbsp
fresh ginger, smashed & chopped fine
1 clove
garlic, crushed
4 tsp
cumin
1 1/2 tsp
cardamon, ground
2 tsp
cayenne pepper
2 1/2 tsp
salt
few dash(es)
red food coloring (optional)

Step-By-Step

1Put all ingredients in a large zipper bag and allow to marinate for a few hours.

2Heat oven to 450.

3Remove from marinade and place on a grill pan (or use a wire rack with a sheet pan under it). Bake for 30 minutes or until juices run clear.
