smooth dijon mustard
chicken legs or thighs
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
fresh rosemary or a generous sprinkling of dried rosemary
Preheat the oven to 350°.
Mix mustard, honey and olive oil in a large bowl.
Add some salt to the honey mustard mix. You may want to add a bit more salt or mustard to get that exact taste you're looking for.
Place the chicken into a shallow dish and season lightly with salt. Make sure the skin-side is up.
Pour your honey mustard mixture over the chicken and place the rosemary sprigs between each piece.
Bake for about 45 minutes. If you have a meat thermometer, once it reaches 175 its done.
After you take the chicken from the oven. Carefully remove any excess chicken fat.
To add a little more zest, before serving, sprinkle with freshly ground pepper.
