Ground beef of Italian sausaage
extra wide lasagne noodles
In a skillet brown ground beef, onion and garlic; drain. Return beef mixture to skillet; stir in spaghetti sauce and water.
In 13x9" baking dish layer 1/3 sauce mix, half of parmesean cheese and parsley, half o mozzarella cheese; repeat layers ending with sauce mixture. Cover tightly with foil.
Bake 1 hour. Uncover; sprinkle with remaining parmesean cheese. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
FLORENTINE STYLE: Omit ground beef and parsley. Stir onion, garlic, one 10 oz package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained, and 1/3 tsp nutmet to ricotta cheese mixture.
