Crockpot Creamy Herbed Chicken stew
yukon gold potatoes cut into 11/2 " pieces
stalks of celery,sliced (1 cup)
boneless,skinless chicken thighs
Spray 5-6 quart crockpot
place the carrots,potatoes,onion,and celery in crockpot
sprinkle with 1 tsp. thyme,salt and pepper
pour the chicken stock over
cover,cook on LOW about 7-8 hours,adding the pea pods last 5-10 minutes of cooking time.
Remove the chicken and veggies from crockpot to a serving bowl,using a slotted spoon;cover to keep warm.
increase heat setting to HIGH,mix together in a small bowl mix cream,flour,and 1 tsp. of the thyme,stir into the liquid in crockpot.
COVER,cook about 10 minutes until thickened.Pour sauce over the chicken and vegetables.
