Crockpot Chicken & Dressing

Ingredients

whole chicken
stock from the chicken
8 inch
skillet of cornbread
8 slice
loaf bread, toasted and cubed
1 1/2 tsp
sage, dried
1/4 tsp
pepper
1/2 tsp
salt
2 can(s)
cream of chicken soup
1 can(s)
chicken broth
1
onion, finely chopped
1/4 tsp
celery seed
3
eggs, well beaten

Directions Step-By-Step

The night before----cook a whole chicken in the crockpot on low temperature all night.

In the morning remove the chicken and leave stock in your crockpot. Cool chicken and debone pieces. Sit aside.

Add all the rest of the ingredients to the stock in the crockpot. I usually taste test for the sage before adding the eggs. Place boned chicken pieces on top of the dressing. Cook in the crockpot on high temperature for 3 1/2 hours.
