This recipe is as close as you can get to an actual Chick-fil-a Sandwich. The secret is the powdered sugar. All you need is real-deal lemonade, waffle fries, a messy play pen, and a warm chocolate chunk cookie, and you're transported to your local Chick-fil-a!

Ingredients

2
boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/2 c
dill pickle juice
2
eggs
1/2 c
milk
1 c
flour
2 Tbsp
powdered sugar
1 tsp
paprika
1 tsp
table salt
1/2 tsp
black pepper
1/2 tsp
garlic powder
1/2 tsp
celery salt
1/2 tsp
dried basil
1 c
peanut oil
4

8 slice

Step-By-Step

1Wrap the chicken loosely between plastic wrap and pound gently with the flat side of a meat tenderizer until about ½ inch thick all around.

2Cut each breast into two pieces, as even as possible.

3Marinate in the pickle juice for 30 minutes to one hour.

4Beat the eggs with the milk in a bowl.

5Combine the flour, sugar, and spices in another bowl.

6Dip the chicken pieces each into the eggs and milk on both sides, then coat in flour on both sides.

7Heat the oil in a skillet (1/2 inch deep) to about 345-350.

8Fry each cutlet for 2 minutes on each side, or until golden and cooked through.

9Blot on paper towels and serve on toasted buns with pickle slices.
