This is a KRAFT recipe that I found in the formerly-free quarterly magazine that KRAFT used to mail out. I have tried this with pork-flavored stuffing & boneless pork chops, it was delicious. I like to serve this with steamed broccoli.

This yummy chicken casserole serves up the coziness of our favorite comfort food along with the Italian zing of bruschetta. That definitely earns this tasty dish a spot in the win-win category. Enjoy!

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb
boneless chicken, cubed
1 can(s)
diced tomatoes, 15 oz can
1/2 c
water
1 tsp
salt
1 Tbsp
minced garlic
1 box
chicken-flavored stuffing mix
2 c
shredded mozzarella
1 Tbsp
italian seasoning

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray 9x13 inch glass baking dish with cooking spray.

2Toss chicken with salt. Place in a layer into the bottom of the baking dish. Stir together tomatoes, water, garlic and stuffing mix; let sit to soften.

3Sprinkle the cheese on top of chicken, then Italian seasoning and then stuffing mixture.

4Bake uncovered for about 30 minutes.
