Broccoli & Chicken Casserole

This is one of my family favorites they like it so much I usually have to double my recipie so I'll have enough I hardly ever have any leftovers

2 10 oz pkg
frozen chopped broccoli
2 c
cooked chopped chicken breasts
1 can(s)
cream of chicken or mushroom soup
1 c
eggs slightly beaten
1 1/2 c
finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 Tbsp
dried onion flakes
1 c
pepperidge farm herbed stuffing
2 Tbsp
butter or margarine


1Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2Prepare frozen broccoli according to package directions until tender then chop into smaller pieces
3In a large bowl combine chopped broccoli, chicken, cream of mushroom soup, mayonnaise, eggs, cheese, and onion flakes mix well
4Pour into 9x13 inch casserole top with dry herbed stuffing
5Top with pats of butter or margarine bake in oven for 30 to 45 minutes until lightly browned and slightly bubbly
6Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving
7Note: chicken can be omitted for a meatless broccoli casserole for a side dish
