Year agao my family loved sweet n sour chicken at Chinese restaurants, especially my kids. I was on the lookout for a recipe to prepare at home. The unusual ingredient of mixed sweet pickles intrigued me to try this recipe although I was a bit leary of what the outcome would be. It MAKES the recipe delicious! My family loved it! Note: I have never used the last two optional ingredients listed.
