Western Skillet Rice

Ingredients

1 lb
ground beef
16 oz
stewed tomatoes
1 can(s)
sweet peas, 8.5 ounces
1 c
shredded sharp cheese
1 pkg
onion soup mix
1.5 c
water
3/4 c
brown rice, raw
1/2 Tbsp
oil

Step-By-Step

1In a skillet on high heat add the oil and brown the meat, stirring frequently.
2Drain any excess fat.
3Stir in the onion soup mix, water, rice, tomatoes and peas.
4Simmer 25 minutes until rice is tender; top with cheese.
