Tom's French Meat Pie

barbara hale

My brother in law once served this at a gathering a long time ago.It was the first time I had ever had Meat Pie.We all enjoyed it.It's something a little different.I've since seen other recipes for meat pie,but so far have stuck to this one.I suppose you can tinker with the recipe and add a few things.I've seen it with a few peas or small pieces of carrot, more or less spices, onion or potato.. but do try this way and see what you think! It's not supposed to be a "beef stew" pie-it's a meat pie, thus the name.
