lean (at least 80%) ground beef
taco seasoning mix
flaky layers refrigerated biscuits
shredded sharp cheddar cheese (8 oz)
chopped red onion
lime, squeezed (1 to 2 tablespoons juice)
salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 c
shredded iceberg lettuce
1Preheat oven to 350*.
Spray a 9"x5" loaf pan.
2Cook ground beef in large skillet with taco seasoning over medium-high heat. Cook until meat is browned. Set aside.
3Cut biscuits into quarters. Toss biscuit pieces with ground beef & cheddar cheese in large mixing bowl. Pour into prepared loaf pan.
Bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
4Toss the tomatoes, onion, cilantro, lime juice, salt and pepper in a medium mixing bowl.
5On a serving plate, place lettuce and invert the bread onto lettuce.
Top with sour cream and tomato mixture.
