This is one of my comfort foods.. It reminds me of my dad.. it was one of his recipes

Ingredients

5-6 lb
chuck steak,
3 large
onions sliced
1 large
green bell pepper sliced
1/2 bunch
celery, chopped
1 large
can of v8 juice

Directions Step-By-Step

In a large roasting pan layer the chuck steak and the veggies.. salt and peppering each layer to taste.

Pour over the V-8 Juice.

Cover and bake in a 300 degree oven for 3-4 hours or until the meat is fork tender,
