Sweet & Sour Meat Balls
The sauce is what really makes this a wonderful dish! I've also used this sauce on ribs and received many compliments. Enjoy!!!
You can make these ahead of time and freeze. Don't leave them on the stove unattended as mine sometimes disappear!!!

- 4 lbs.
- ground beef
- garlic powder
- slices of white bread
1Soak bread in water and squeeze out, add to beef. Roll into 1 inch balls and broil until done, throw off all the grease.
2SAUCE; SAUTE 1 ONION IN 1 STICK OF BUTTER OR MARGARINE; ADD 3 SMALL CANS OF TOMATO PASTE AND 1 CUP OF BROWN SUGAR PLUS 2 T OF FRESH LEMON JUICE. ADD CAPERS IF DESIRED. SIMMER SLOWLY.
