Even with the long list of ingredients this comes together fast allowing dinner or lunch to be on the table in no time! I love that you can double it and that it freezes well.

1/2 tsp

1 Tbsp

In a medium bowl, stir together the ketchup, chili sauce, water, vinegar, brown sugar, chili powder, cumin, mustard, Worcestershire and tomato paste. Set aside.
2
Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat and add onion and bell pepper. Cook until softened, about 3-5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook another minute or two.
3
Increase the heat to high, add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up well as it cooks. Drain off the excess fat.
4
Stir in the liquid mixture, bring to a boil, than reduce the heat and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until thickened.
5
Serve up on a toasted bun with mustard, pickles and cheese if you desire.
