Even with the long list of ingredients this comes together fast allowing dinner or lunch to be on the table in no time! I love that you can double it and that it freezes well.

Ingredients

3/4 c
ketchup
3/4 c
chili sauce
1 c
water
2 Tbsp
balsamic vinegar
2 Tbsp
brown sugar
1/2 tsp
cumin
1 Tbsp
dijon mustard
1/4 tsp

2 tsp
worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp

2 Tbsp

1/2 large

1 large
green bell pepper, diced
4 clove
garlic, minced
2 lb
ground beef

Step-By-Step

1In a medium bowl, stir together the ketchup, chili sauce, water, vinegar, brown sugar, chili powder, cumin, mustard, Worcestershire and tomato paste. Set aside.
2Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat and add onion and bell pepper. Cook until softened, about 3-5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook another minute or two.
3Increase the heat to high, add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up well as it cooks. Drain off the excess fat.
4Stir in the liquid mixture, bring to a boil, than reduce the heat and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until thickened.
5Serve up on a toasted bun with mustard, pickles and cheese if you desire.
