Ingredients For stuffed meat loaf

2 lbground beef
-
1/2 lbmozzarella cheese
-
1/2 cwater
-
2eggs
-
1.5 cbread crumbs

salt and pepper to taste

olive oil

6parsley sprigs, chopped
-
2garlic cloves, chopped
-
1 cparmesan cheese
-
tomato sauce
How To Make stuffed meat loaf

1Cut the mozzarella lengthwise into four pieces.

2Mix all ingredients except mozzarella, thoroughly.

3Form into a firmly packed football shape.

4Make a deep lengthwise slit and stuff with mozzarella; close meat loaf firmly around cheese.

5Heat oil in a large fry pan and brown meat loaf on all sides.

6Gently lift out and place in simmering tomato sauce to cook slowly 30-45 minutes on low heat.

7Serve sliced with pasta or rice.
