Savory Sour Cream Burgers

I adopted this recipe because I liked the basic idea. Then I added some ingredients and changed the cooking method. I think I have now developed a recipe that produces a savory, juicy burger for those times when only a big 'ol burger will do! Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Ingredients

3/4 lb
lean ground beef
1/4 c
sour cream
2 Tbsp
green onion,thinly sliced
1/4 tsp
cinnamon
1/4 tsp
garlic powder
1/4 c
fine dried bread crumbs
salt and pepper, to taste
2
hamburger buns
4 slice
tomato, thinly sliced
2
lettuce leaves
additional sour cream, if desired

Directions Step-By-Step

Stir together sour cream, green onion, cinnamon, garlic powder, bread crumbs, and salt and pepper, to taste. Add ground beef and mix well.

Shape into two 3/4-inch thick patties. Grill or broil patties to desired level of doneness.

Hamburger buns should be split, toasted and buttered. Serve patties on toasted buns with tomatoes, lettuce and a dollop of sour cream, if desired.
