This is my mom's recipe. I didn't know, where she got it from but has had it for a long while. But, I now believe she got the recipe from Taste of Home.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

3 lb
boneless beef sirloin tip roast, cut into chunks
3
celery ribs, chopped
1 large
onion, chopped
1 medium
green pepper, chopped (optional)
1/4 c
cider vinegar
3 Tbsp
chili powder
2 Tbsp
lemon juice
1 tsp
ground mustard
1 c
tomato ketchup
6 oz
tomato paste
1/2 c
brown sugar, packed
2 Tbsp
molasses
2 tsp
salt
2 tsp
worcestershire sauce

Step-By-Step

1Put meat in 5 qt. slow cooker; add celery, onion, and green pepper.
2In a bowl, combine all ingredients that are remaining. Mix well. Pour over beef.
3Cook on LOW for 8-9 hours or until tender.
4Skim fat from juices, if necessary. Shred beef and serve on buns.
