Sauerkraut Meatballs

I HATE sauerkraut but love these so please don't pass up the recipe just because you're not a sauerkraut lover!

Very easy to make. Meatballs can be made the day before. Since I generally make this dish to take somewhere else, I bake it, then transfer to a crock pot.

Ingredients

2 lb
ground chuck
1 c
bread crumbs
1 pkg
dry onion soup mix
3
eggs
1 bottle
chili sauce
1 bottle
water (use chili sauce bottle)
1 c
brown sugar, lightly packed
1 can(s)
whole cranberry sauce
1 can(s)
sauerkraut, (washed and well drained)

Directions Step-By-Step

Combine ground chuck, bread crumbs, onion soup mix and eggs. Form into small meatballs. Place into 9X13 dish. Do not brown.

Simmer together chili sauce, water, brown sugar, cranberry sauce and sauerkraut. Pour over meatballs and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
