I have served this on many occasions and it is always a winner! Serve with warm dinner rolls and you have a complete meal.

Ingredients

1 lb
ground beef
1 small
onion, chopped
1/2 tsp
salt, optional
1/4 tsp
pepper
1 can(s)
sauerkraut (1 lb. 11 ounce) drained
2 c
uncooked wide egg noodles
1 can(s)
cream of celery soup, undiluted
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1/2 c
grated cheddar cheese

Step-By-Step

1Brown beef and onion together with salt and pepper, drain fat.
2Layer half the beef-onion mixture in a 7x11 baking dish. Cover with sauerkraut and top with remaining meat-onion mixture.
3Put uncooked noodles on top. Spread soups over noodles. ( I mix soups together first).
4Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle cheese on top and bake 30 minutes more.
