Ingredients

1 large
onion (chopped)
1
green pepper (chopped)
2 clove
garlic (minced)
2 lb
ground beef
2 c
ketchup
1/4 c
brown sugar
1 c
barbecue sauce
1/4 c
cider vinegar
2 Tbsp
mustard
1 tsp
onion powder
1 tsp
italian seasoning
1/2 tsp
pepper

Step-By-Step

1In a skillet, cook beef, onions, peppers and garlic over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink.
Drain and return to skillet.
2In a mixing bowl, stir together all remaining ingredients. Pour over meat mixture and stir well.
3Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4Note: Can also be prepared using ground turkey instead of beef.
