This recipe was handed down to me from Mrs Pauline Sharp who founded my childhood church.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (8 oz.) shredded colby/monterey jack cheese
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 4 - flour tortillas (10-inch each)
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • OPTIONAL
  • - green bell pepper
  • - red bell pepper
  • - onion
  • - mushrooms

How To Make quick mexican pizza

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Step 2
    Cook meat; drain.
  • Step 3
    Stir in seasonings.
  • Step 4
    Spread 1/4 cup salsa and 1/2 meat mixture on each tortilla.
  • Step 5
    Top each with 1/2 cup cheese and optional toppings.
  • Step 6
    Bake in preheated oven at 400 degrees F oven for 8 to 10 or until crisp and lightly browned.
