Peanut Butter Bacon Burger !

Ingredients

1 large	hamburger bun
1 large	hamburger
3 slice	bacon (fried crisp)
1 - 2 slice	onion
1 - 2 Tbsp	creamy peanut butter
1 - 2 Tbsp	mayonnaise

Colleen's Notes:

Growing up eating Southern style peanut butter and mayo sandwiches... and eating lots of burgers.... This is the best of both worlds!!!

It sounds like a crazy combination... but it is just... CRAZY GOOD!!!

I hope you will be BRAVE and try this burger.... MMMMMMMM mmmm MMMMM And remember... play with your food! ox

Directions

Fry the bacon until crispy. Set aside.

Fry the hamburger as desired.

Optional: Grill insides of the bun.

Optional: You can also use grilled slices of bread instead of a bun.

Spread mayonnaise on one half of the bun.

Spread peanut butter on the other half of the bun.

Or put half of each on each side of the bun or bread.

Put onion and bacon on both halves of bun.

Put hamburger on bottom half of bun. Top it with the other half of the bun.

Enjoy!!!

Hi Michele, Cin, and Didi!!! I haven't posted many recipes this year... but I had to be sure and share this one! Thanks for the nice comments.... I eat peanut butter mayo and onion sandwiches.... and they are super good.... but this burger is even better!

Hi Stormy!!! I have never had it on hot dogs! I was craving another one of these.... so on the way home tonight...... We bought BK Bacon Burgers (no ketsup) and when I got home I added peanut butter and more onions....... Hit the spot really well.... Not as good as a home made burger....... but it worked... lol ox
