Pam's zesty crockpot beef and vegetable soup

this recipe was one my mom used alot...I grew up on all kinds of Army bases and my mom would never know how many guys my dad would be bringing home with him...He was the platoon "FATHER" and we always had a bunch at tthe house for supper. I have added a couple of items to it to make it my own.With winter coming on this will be one of my GO TO recipes.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot


1 lb
ground beef
1/2 c
chopped onion
2 clove
garlic, minced
2 c
coleslaw mix
10 oz
frozen corn
9 oz
frozen green beans
4 c
v 8 juice..spicy or regular
14 1/2 oz
italian stewed tomatoes, undrained
2 Tbsp
worchestershire sauce
1 tsp
basil, crushed
1/4 tsp


1In a large skillet, cook beef, onions, and garlic until meat is brown and onions are tender. Drain.
2In crockpot, mix remaining ingredients. Add beef mixture and mix well.
3cook on low for 8 or 9 hours or high for 5 hours.
