Donna's Story

This is a sandwich our family has been enjoying for years. It is so simple I have hesitated in posting it. It makes a great, very filling meal when you're on the run to meetings, ballgames, or just a quick, satisfying meal.

Ingredients

8 oz
deli roast beef, sliced thin
2 slice
provolone cheese
2
deli buns
1
10.25 can beef gravy
1 tsp
minced garlic
(this makes 2 sandwiches)

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Toast deli rolls.
2
Place roast beef, gravy and garlic in a saucepan and heat thoroughly. Place roast beef mixture onto deli rolls and top with slice of Provolone cheese. Place sandwich under broiler to melt cheese and heat sandwich. Serve with chips, fries, or a garden salad.

Yummmmy is the discription for this! I have been making a sandwich similar for years. Never the same combination twice! lol
I have also used jarred au jus. One trick I have found is to heat the gravy/au jus first then drop roast beef in. This way the meat heats up quickly. Hubby sometimes request sauteed onions with his. He will also add pepperoncini to his. As I said never the same way twice. lol
I will do this sometimes with deli turkey too!
