french fried onions, crumbled

Combine all ingredients except cheese.
Form 1/2 of the meat mixture into patties.
Quarter each slice of cheese and place 4 quarters on each patty.
Cover each patty with remainder of meat mixture and press to seal edges.
Grill or cook over medium heat until patties are cooked through and cheese is melted.
Serve with desired condiments & garnishes.
