Ingredients

1/2 lb
ground beef
1 can(s)
15 ounce hunts tomato sauce
1 can(s)
15 ounce chili beans, undrained
1 can(s)
3 ounce french fried onions
1 c
crushed corn chips
1 c
cheddar cheese, shredded
2 c
shredded lettuce
1/2 c
sour cream
onions chopped (optional)
may substitute tomato soup for sauce, but add a small amount of tomato juice or 1/2 cup to 1 cup salsa

Step-By-Step

1Brown beef. Drain. Add tomato sauce, chili beans and half of the french fried onions. mix well.

2Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Add chopped onions if using half way through cooking time.

3Stir in remaining french fried onions and corn chips. Remove from heat.

Sprinkle lettuce around edge of pan. Sprinkle cheese on top. Serve with sour cream.
