This is the easiest way to fix the most delicious chuck roast!!! You will not be disappointed.

Ingredients

1
beef chuck roast
l pkg
dry ranch dressing mix
1 pkg
mccormick au jus gravy mix
1 stick
butter (optional)
4-5
pepperoncini peppers

Directions Step-By-Step

Place chuck roast in crock Pot

Sprinkle Ranch Dressing mix on top followed by Au Jus Gravy Mix.

Place butter on top of dry mixes. Butter is optional. (I forgot it the first time and the roast was still delicious.) Place peppers on top of roast. Add NO water!!!! Cook on low for 8 hrs, then enjoy!!!!

HELP -- i hope someone will be able to answer my problem today. I am going to make this roast but this time adding potatoes and carrots. i need for it to done by 1:00 tomorrow for lunch. My crock pot will not fit in my fridge. Any suggestions on when to start the cooking and on what setting and for how long I would so much appreciate it. thanks.

My family absolutely loved this and it was so easy. I did add potato's and mushrooms to it for more veggies. Perfect hit!!!

I loved it but I added onion and mushrooms. It was so good. Got to fix it again

BEST ROAST EVER! I make vegetables with this too. I put cut small red potatoes, onions, carrots and mushrooms in the crockpot under the roast. Since I'm making vegetables also, I add about a cup of water or beef broth and include some of the pepper juice and pour around the outside of the roast. I don't think I will ever make a roast any other way!

I made this recipe when I saw it on Facebook. FABULOUS!!!! However, I don't think the butter is "optional". Everything is better with butter.
