Ingredients

1 pound ground round
3 garlic cloves minced
1 can undiluted condensed bean with bacon soup
1 jar medium picante auce
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 tablespoon parsley
salt and pepper
1 can black or kidney beans
1 can corn drained
2 cups cheddar cheese
sliced green onions
refrigerated double-crust 9 inch pie crust
sour cream
sliced black olives

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Cook beef or ground turkey with garlic on skillet until beef is no longer pink then drain. (I usually add my garlic once the beef is starting to brown)
2
In a bowl combine soup, 1-1/4 cups of picante sauce, cornstarch, and parsley. Add salt and pepper to your liking. Add meat.
3
Fold beans and corn into mixture (sometimes I use 1 can of Black Beans and 1 can of corn, I've also made it with no corn using kidney and black beans).
4
Stir in Cheese, and 1/2 cup scallions into the beef and bean mixture. Line pie plate with pie pastry; fill with bean and meat mixture. Top with remaining pastry and seal and flute the edges. Cut slits into the top of the crust.
5
Bake at 425 degrees for 30-35 minutes until lightly browned. Serve with sour cream, picante sauce, green onions and olives.
