This dish is very cost efficient but more importantly it tastes delicious!

Ingredients

1/3 c
milk
1 1/2 lb
ground beef
1/4 c
onion, grated
2
egg
1 Tbsp
garlic, minced
1 1/2 tsp
salt
3/4 c
ketchup
1 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
1 c
oat meal
1/2 lb
pork
1/4 c
carrots, grated
1/4 c
horseradish
1 tsp
dijon mustard (yellow will do in a pinch)
1/8 tsp
pepper
1 Tbsp
tobasco (optional)

Step-By-Step

1In a medium bowl combine milk and oatmeal. Let stand for 2 minutes. Stir in eggs, horseradish, ketchup, garlic, Dijon, salt and pepper.
2In a large bowl combine ground beef, pork, onions and carrots. Gently mix in oatmeal mixture until combined thoroughly. On a parchment or foil lined sheet pan shape mixture into a loaf. Score the top diagonally
3Bake at 350 for 30 minutes
4For a Ketchup Glaze - Combine 1/2 cup Ketchup, 1 TBS diced garlic, 1 TBS Worchester sauce, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 TBS Tabasco (optional) and slather on top. Bake another 30 minutes or until done.
