Notes from the Test Kitchen:
These were really cute and my family enjoyed having their own mini meatloaf. The recipe has a really good contrast of savory meat loaf and sweet glaze. And of course, the cheese added to these little loaves is a nice touch.

Note that the glaze is quite sweet, so if you dont like things really sweet you may want to either cut back on the brown sugar in the glaze or leave the glaze off all together. Wonderful either way.

Ingredients

egg
3/4 c
milk
1 c
cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 c
quick cooking oats, dry
1/2 c
onions, chopped
1 tsp
salt
1 lb
lean ground beef

GLAZE

2/3 c
ketchup
1/2 c
brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp
regular mustard

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix egg and milk together and beat in bowl.

Mix all ingredients and form 8 small loaves.

Combine ketchup, brown sugar and mustard, and pour over each meat loaf.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
