Ingredients

1 pkg
onion soup mix
3/4 c
water
1/2 c
ketchup
1 tsp
garlic powder
1/2 tsp
black pepper
3 lb
beef brisket

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
2In 13x9 inch baking or roasting pan, add onion soup mix blended with water, ketchup, garlic powder and pepper.
3Add brisket, turning to coat with soup mixture.
4Loosely cover with aluminum foil and roast for 3 hours or until brisket is tender.
5Thicken gravy if desired.
