Rosanne's Story

This was a recipe given to my mother years ago by one of her many friends.

The prep and cooking times are approximate as they were not clearly stated in the recipe.


1 lb
hamburger (the fat content was not specified as this recipe was given to mom years ago.)
1 1/4 c
chopped onions
1/2 c
chopped green peppers
2 can(s)
condensed cream of celery soup or condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c
1 lb
elbow maccaroni
1/2 lb
grated sharp cheese

Directions Step-By-Step

Brown meat lightly with chopped onions and chopped peppers. (It does not state that fat needs to be drained.)
Mix with cooked macaroni and other ingredients.
Put in buttered casserole dish and top with grated cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees 25 minutes or until cheese is brown.
