Silly me!! I meant rouladen not roulade. We made chicken roulade last night and I had it on the brain!

This recipe reminds me of a dish my Oma used to make when I was little--she referred to it as Roulaude (she didn't speak much English) and it was made in a deep kettle with layers of red cabbage, ground pork and beef, rice, tomatoes, onions, and garlic. Sometimes she would add fresh beets, fennel seeds and thyme. We children would wait impatiently for it to be ready. Yummy memories--thank you!!

Just have to say this is easily one of the family faves in the house that's asked for, even for company coming over lol they ALL LOVE IT! I use the 94/7 lean ground and comes out perfect and not too greasy but enough to keep it super moist. Also I use the cannef diced tomatoes and switch the flavors up from rotel or other flavored varieties. Thx for the share!! :-D
