Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1 pkg dry taco seasoning mix
1-small head of lettuce, chopped
1-med. tomato chopped
1-small onion, chopped
2 c shredded cheddar cheese
1 c crushed corn chips
1 can(s) pinto beans, drained
1/2 c catalina dressing

Easy to make, tasty & very yummy!

Have made this for many years, a families favorite, everyone who has eaten this has loved it.

 

Directions

1
BROWN... ground beef in skillet, stirring until crumbly. Drain if greasy.

STIR... in taco seasoning mix.

SIMMER... for several minutes.

TOSS... next 4 ingredients in large salad bowl.

TOP... with corn chips & beans.

POUR... dressing over top.

SPOON... ground beef mixture over all.

For a great taco salad dressing, try mixing equal parts of enchilada sauce and Catalina dressing. It really perks up a taco salad.

Try hot sauce sour cream and guacomole as dressing and leave out the catalna dressing all together
