Nancy J.'s Notes:

An unshared recipe...
is like an unlighted candle!
I am sharing this wonderful recipe for your family you.
Sometimes called a Mexican Hat,
and even a Texas Hat.
I have tried a few recipes on the internet, all so very different, and found that this one is with out a doubt, the very best!
More ingredients, and more flavor.
I found it in a 1975 Iowa Church Cookbook! Recipe by Geo.R.
The corn chips on the bottom of plate supposed to look like straw.
What a delicious mix of salad ingredients..it is sure to please everybody.

I want to try the cucumber recipe alone!!! It sounds good and like something my Mom use to make. I agree with others this does sound like a Taco Salad recipe with a few variations. I definitely plan to try this since it sounds really good!!!
