My mom and aunt would make this recipe. Very flavorful and easy to make.

Ingredients

1 lb
ground beef
1 Tbsp
minced onion
1/2 tsp
garlic salt
2 can(s)
tomato sauce (8 oz each)
1 c
sliced black olives
1 c
sour cream
1 c
small curd cottage cheese
1 pkg
tortilla chips
2 c
grated cheese (1/2 pound)
3-4 can(s)
canned diced green chilies

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350'

2Brown meat in skillet. Drain.

3Add onion, garlic, olives and tomato sauce.

4In a bowl, combine sour cream, cottage cheese and chilies.

5Layer crushed tortilla chips in bottom of a buttered 2 1/2 qt casserole dish.

6Layer with 1/2 of the meat mixture.

7Layer with 1/2 of the sour cream mixture.

8Layer with 1/2 of the grated cheese.

9Repeat the 4 layers.

10Garnish with whole tortilla chips, if desired.

11Bake for 30 minutes.
