Becky's Notes:

After reading many recipes for chili, I came up with my own version. This is super easy and kid friendly. You can add cut-up veggies to add in. My husband requests this every week.

Directions

1
Pour all canned items into crockpot and turn on low heat. Drain Rotel for mild heat. For more heat, add hot Rotel, or 2 cans Rotel not drained. Pour in the package of chili seasoning and mix well.
2
Season well with salt, pepper and garlic and cook the hamburger or turkey meat until done and drain. Add to the crockpot.
3
Cook on low for about 2 hours or longer.

I'm making this tonight, just went and got all the ingredients. One question... Do I drain all the cans of beans before putting them in the crock-pot? Thanks.

Hey all! Made this last evening. Didn't get an answer on draining the cans of beans or not...so I didn't drain them. The recipe came out perfect! I am very happy that I made it in my 6 quart crock pot. I don't think it would have fit in anything smaller. Made some cornbread and served with some chopped onions and grated cheese. I actually got leftovers from this one, so I am happy! Thank you Becky for another keeper.
