Crockpot Pepperoncini Beef

This sounds spicy but even my picky kids ate this at a young age. It is super simple & super yummy..great for busy days & the left overs just get better. I also like to add sliced mushrooms.

You can also serve it over potatoes, rice, etc.

Ingredients

4-5 lb
beef roast - chuck works great
1
head of garlic - use at least 6 cloves
1 large
onion - sliced - red yellow or white
1 jar(s)
16 oz sliced pepperoncini peppers
1 bottle
good beer - optional - may sub beef broth
1 lb
sliced provolone or swiss cheese
hoagie rolls -amount depends on need

Step-By-Step

1Cut slits in roast - add cloves of garlic - you may also just use minced garlic from a jar - rub in skin
2Place roast in crockpot - pour all ingredients over roast - cook on low for 6-8 hours until falling apart
3Serve on hoagie rolls with cheese
