Crockpot Cubed Steaks with Gravy

1/3 c flour
6 cubed steaks
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 large onion, sliced and separated into rings
3 c water, divided
1 envelope brown gravy
1 envelope mushroom gravy
1 envelope onion gravy

The very first time I tried this recipe I was blown away. We make this recipe all the time and there are never any leftovers. Make sure you plan ahead because it takes 8 hours in a slow cooker but, it's worth it! It's a family favorite. Hope you enjoy it!

Place flour into a large resealable plastic bag. Add steaks and shake to coat.

In a skillet, cook steaks in oil until lightly brown on each side. Transfer the steaks to a slow cooker. Add onion and 2 cups of water to slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.

In a bowl, whisk together all 3 gravy mixes with the remaining water. Add to slow cooker and cook for another 30 minutes.

Serve with mashed potatoes or over rice.

This is so good love cubed steak in the crockpot. The only thing I do differently is that I take one can of cream of mushroom soup low sodium and add one can of low sodium beef stock or my own. I put the soup on it right away and also add some fresh cut mushrooms. Yum! Great post!

Angela it is good but any cube steak in the crock pot with gravy and onions is a hit in my book!!!!! Yummy!
