Crockpot Beef and Broccoli

Delicious beef and broccoli. I don't even need the rice.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

1 lb
boneless beef chuck roast sliced into thin strips
1 c
beef broth
1/2 c
saki
1/2 c
soy sauce
1/3 c
brown sugar
1 Tbsp
sesame oil
4 clove
garlic minced
2 Tbsp
cornstarch
2 Tbsp
cooked sauce from crockpot
2 c
fresh broccoli florets blanched in boiling water
hot cooked rice
1/2 c
fresh cilantro chopped

Step-By-Step

1Place beef in crockpot. In small bowl mix beef broth, saki, soy sauce, brown sugar, oil and garlic. Pour over beef. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
2Turn crockpot up to high. Bring to a boil. Stir cornstarch with sauce from pot until well blended. Add to crockpot and stir. Let boil.
3Blanch the broccoli in boiling water. Drain and add to the crockpot and boil 30 more minutes.
Serve over rice Garnish with cilantro
