I just went to a friend's house and she served me this. It's simple, but delicious, and it can feed a lot of people. This is a great go to recipe on a cold autumn night!

Ingredients

2-3 lb
lean cut beef roast
1 large
onion
1/2 c
dry white wine
2 c
beef broth
1 pkg
au jus gravy mix

Step-By-Step

1Place onions in bottom of crock pot.
2Place meat on top.
3Mix wine, broth, gravy mix together, and pour over the meat just to cover. (If it doesn't cover completely, it will be fine once the juices from the meat are rendered.)
4Cool slightly and shred meat. Serve on crusty rolls or buns with horseradish sauce, au jus, or whatever topping you like.
