If you've had a busy day and need a quick, yet delicious, meal...this is for you! My family likes to call it "Homemade Hamburger Helper" but so much better! Serve with warm rolls and a salad and you have a wonderful, satisfying meal for the whole family.

Ingredients

onion, chopped
4 oz. can(s)
sliced mushrooms
1 Tbsp
olive oil
1 lb.
lean ground beef
1 (10.8oz) can(s)
golden mushroom soup
1 c
half and half or milk
1/2 - 1 tsp
salt (to taste)
1/4 tsp
pepper
1/8 tsp
paprika (for a little color)
1 Tbsp
butter
8 oz.
cooked noodles (about 1/2 of a 16 oz. pkg.)

Directions Step-By-Step

Sauté onion and mushrooms in olive oil, in nonstick skillet until onions are translucent, approximately 5-7 minutes. Add ground beef; stirring to break up meat until meat is cooked through, about 8 minutes.

Add soup, milk, salt, pepper, paprika and butter; heat through and stir occasionally, for about 5 minutes.

Add cooked noodles and stir gently to combine.
