I wanted a meatloaf out of the ordinary so I came up with this recipe for a cheese stuffed meatloaf, who doesn't like cheese??

Ingredients For cheese stuffed meatloaf

  • 2 lb
    ground beef or turkey
  • dash
    garlic salt
  • dash
    pepper
  • dash
    sweet basil
  • minced onion
  • 2
    eggs
  • 2 c
    bread crumbs, seasoned
  • 1 c
    butter, melted
  • mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • country bob's steak sauce
  • (most ingredients are to taste)
  • 1/2 c
    extra melted butter

How To Make cheese stuffed meatloaf

    Mix ground beef, garlic salt, pepper, sweet basil, minced onion, eggs, bread crumbs, 1 cup butter, and Country Bob's Steak Sauce in a large bowl. Mix only until seasonings are evenly spread throughout.

    Place meat mixture in a 13x9 baking dish and spread out on the bottem. Place mozzarealla cheese in the middle and fold edges of the meat into the middle, covering the cheese.

    Once the cheese is covered make sure the loaf is not touching the sides of your pan and pour sauce made from 1/2 cup butter, a quater size amount of country bob's and about 1/3 cup water. (it will be thin). Pour this over the meat loaf and put in the middle shelf of your oven.

    Cook at 375 degrees about 1 1/2 hours, from a cold oven.
