Stove Top

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb
ground beef
1 c
celery, chopped
2 Tbsp
chili powder
2 Tbsp
sugar (optional)
1 large
can tomatoes, chopped fine
1 large
onion, chopped
2 c
shredded cabbage
2 c
water or broth (can be adjusted)
2 can(s)
pinto beans (or 4 cups cooked pintos)
1 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste

Directions Step-By-Step

Brown meat. Remove from pan and set aside.

Add water and cook onion, celery and cabbage until tender.

Add remaining ingredients (including meat) and simmer for 30-40 minutes.
