BUDGET BEEF STROGANOFF (Crock Pot Recipe)

Guess it's time I got busy here and shared something. This is a family favorite.

Ingredients

1 1/2 - 2 lb
round steak
1 tsp
salt
1/8 tsp
freshly ground pepper
1
onion, sliced
1/4 tsp
garlic salt
1 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 c
beef boullon (or both)
1 Tbsp
steak sauce (or catsup)
2 Tbsp
dry white wine
1/4 lb
fesh mushrooms, sliced
1/3 c
flour
1 c
sour cream
rice or noodles

Directions Step-By-Step

Cut Steak into 1/4 inch strips. Coat with salt and pepper.

Drop into bottom of crock pot with onion.

Mix garlic salt, Worcestershire sauce, bouillion (or broth) and steak sauce (or catsup). Pour over meat.

Cover and cook on low for 6 - 8 hours or until tender.

Turn control to high, add wine and mushrooms.

Dissolve flour in small amount of water. Add to meat mixture stirring until blended.

Cook on high for 15 minutes or until slightly thickened. Stir in sour cream; turn off heat.

Serve with rice or noodles. (We like it with the No Yolk Noodles.
