Elizabeth's Notes:

This is an old Italian recipe. I made it for the firsttime for my husband last August. He continued to tell me how awesome it was for days...The recipe does not have exact measurements...that us how we cook majority of the time.

Directions

1
Remove fat.
2
Put bread crumbs on top of steak.
3
Sprinkle salt, pepper, little bit garlic cut up on top of bread crumbs.
4
Sprinkle basil and parmesan cheese.
5
Drizzle a little oil on top.
6
Pat it down with hands.
7
Roll it up tight. Keep filling from falling out.
8
Tie tight with string. I tied it in several spots.
9
Place in skillet. Fry until brown
10
If you have homemade sauce handy...add meat to it. It gives it a great flavor!!

The great thing about bracciole is that you can stuff it with anything you like. I add raisins and toasted pignoli. Sometimes I'll put a slice of prosciutto on it.
